Mark Hill MBE is a distinguished veteran who served 22 years in the British Army, rising to the
rank of Warrant Officer. For his exceptional dedication and contributions, he was honoured by
Her Majesty The Queen with an MBE. Throughout his notable military career, Mark completed
over six years of operational duty, earning two Operational Commendations for Distinguished
Service and Exceptionally Valuable Service.
Following his military career, Mark transitioned his leadership, training, and development
expertise into entrepreneurial ventures. He is the founder and editor of RESHAPE, an Armed
Forces Resettlement Magazine provides vital resources and guidance to service leavers
navigating their transition to civilian life.
Mark’s commitment to inspiring the next generation is equally noteworthy. Through his work in
community youth engagement, he has delivered motivational talks on teamwork, effective
communication, problem-solving, and leadership to over 55,000 young people.
As the founder and administrator of Veterans Support Services in Catterick Garrison, Mark
continues to serve his community by fostering a sense of belonging and purpose among
veterans. He also delivers weekly briefings to early service leavers, equipping them with the
tools and confidence needed to succeed beyond military life.
